Description

March Focus: Atypical Development

Do you work alone?
Do you feel isolated from the therapeutic community?
Would you like to have a group of professionals you could consult with?
If so, this group is for you!

Unfortunately, most us work alone with challenging caseloads and families, unclear expectations, inadequate resources, isolation, and excessive paperwork requirements, all of which can leave us deflated and overwhelmed.

Therapeutic Resources is pleased to announce the formation of a Pediatric Mentor Group. With a focus on younger children (aged 0-5). Meetings will focus on current treatment trends, case study presentations, discussion of assigned journal articles along with video and live treatment and assessment demonstrations.

We are thrilled that Julieanne Costa, OT/PT, a master clinician and Early Intervention Clinical Director at Therapeutic Resources will be leading the group and sharing her knowledge and experience. Therapists with all levels of clinical expertise are welcome including those looking to work with a pediatric population for the first time.

Space Is Extremely Limited. Priority given to Therapeutic Resources Affiliates. If you are currently active with Therapeutic Resources, please log into your portal for more information on this event. Because space is extremely limited, those that register and do not attend, may not be able to register for future pediatric mentor group meetings.

AGENDA:
6:00pm-6:30pm: Welcome and general discussion of current clinical issues of interest

6:00pm-7:00pm Program for the evening – This will vary by the evening and may include a treatment demonstration, case study presentation, journal article analysis, etc. The featured topic for this month will be Atypical Development Review.
