Event Details

Pedal, Stretch, Breathe: The Yoga of Bicycling is Kelli Refer's guide to incorporating basic yoga exercises, breathing, and philosophy into your daily bike ride. Inspired by bicycling up and over the hills of her home city of Seattle, Refer shares knowledge gained in her years of teaching yoga. Everyday bicycle riders will find a lot of inspiration in this book, from breathing their way up hills to dealing with achey knees and tight hips to overcoming road rage.

Kelli Refer

Kelli at The Grinning YogiKelli Refer lives in the hilly city of Seattle. Her childhood love of
bike riding was rekindled as an adult in 2008, when she turned in to
a full time bike commuter. She has been an avid practitioner of yoga
since 2005 and has been teaching since 2009 after earning her 200
hour Registered Yoga Teacher certificate.

Her other passion is botany and learning about the plants of
the Pacific Northwest that she discovers on bicycle tours. And she
can’t get enough of practicing yoga on beaches, in forests, and in
bike lanes.
