PechaKucha: Travel Follies
Event Information
About this Event
Jobs fill your pockets, but adventures fill your soul.
- Jamie Lyn Beatty
Travel broadens the mind, allows for new and fascinating experiences, and often takes you WAY out of your comfort zone, but the memories that are created can last a lifetime. However, these memories are not always of great triumphs and victories. Often travel is challenging and filled with comedy. It may not be funny right there and then, but as time passes and the experience softens in our minds, these stories tend to be some of the best to share from our experiences.
In a time when travel has become challenging, we are excited to look back on some great memories of places we have been and adventures we have experienced. Join us for a night of sharing these amusing travel follies as a speaker or just to watch!
PechaKucha is an event style in which speakers share 20 slides for 20 seconds each that automatically changing whether the speaker is ready or not! This format keeps presentations concise and fast-paced making for a very engaging evening where multiple speakers can share their stories.
*Registration for this free event is open to anyone interested in a night of fun, laughter and creativity on September 1st
