Water & tea provided and you are welcome to BYOB. These are casual, intimate shows and the suggested donation is $35. Food is served at 6:00pm, music begins at 7:00pm. Parking is available in our driveway, behind our back fence as long as it isn't muddy and in the parking lot on the corner. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET.

About the Artist

Pushing Chain was formed in 2012 by Boyd Blomberg and Adam Moe. The duo, which has been performing together in various manifestations since 1997, plays Folky-Tonk music featuring Boyd on guitar and vocals and Adam on the fiddle and vocals. Strong songwriting, tight harmonies, and a gonzo approach have been winning fans for Pushing Chain across the Midwest and beyond.

Artist Statement

Pushing Chain believes in strong harmonies, kazoos, and sad songs. We believe in performing songs we’ve never played together, and jamming with people we’ve just met. That a guitarist and a fiddler can cover Hendrix if they want to. That music can cause tears and laughter, sometimes in the course of one song, and that there are still important songs to be written. That a good band will make strangers share a table.

About the Charity

His Grace Foundation provides physical, emotional and financial support for the patients and families on the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit (BMTU) of Texas Children’s Hospital.

Designed to be “grace in the need of the moment,” HGF has steadily grown, increasing in services, volunteers and impact. HGF provides each new patient with a gift basket designed specifically for him or her, as well as necessities for family members, free parking for patient families, several monthly catered meals and weekly shopping. Additional services include emergency funding, educational support and scholarships, arts in medicine program, massage therapy, and holiday and birthday celebrations. In the last several years, the foundation has expanded to provide four homes for outpatient temporary housing while families are required to maintain close proximity to the hospital.
