There are several transportation options for getting to the Peace, Love, and Power Family Community Day:
- Carpool: Find a carpool to the event at gobuffaloniagara.org/rideshare. Create an account and complete your profile with your starting point and the event destination (Silo City). Find others to share a ride with as a rider or driver by clicking the "Find a Ridematch" tab.
- Bus: Plan your trip using Go Buffalo Niagara's Trip Planning Tool! The #42-Lackawanna will take you between Downtown Buffalo and the entrance of Silo City (at Ohio and Ganson Streets). The #42 runs approximately every 45-60 minutes, arriving at Silo City at 1:29pm, 1:44pm, 2:44pm, 3:44pm, 4:44pm. Buses back to Downtown Buffalo depart just south of Silo City Row on Ohio Street at 1:54pm, 3:09pm, 4:09pm, 5:07pm, 6:07pm, and 7:07pm. In Downtown Buffalo, you can connect to Metro Rail (at Seneca Street Station) or buses at the Metropolitan Transportation Center.
- Bike: Visit the Bike Resources page on Go Buffalo Niagara to view bike lanes, paths, bike parking, and other information. Generate bicycle directions using Go Buffalo Niagara's Trip Planning Tool, where you can adjust your preferences for bicycle friendly roads, quickness, or flatness. The Shoreline Trail provides on-street bicycle lanes and separated bike paths between Canalside and Silo City.
- Walk: Walk along the Industrial Heritage Trail section of the Shoreline Trail from Canalside to Silo City (and beyond that, o the Outer Harbor). Silo City a 1.5-mile or 30-minute walk along the trail to Canalside, where you can catch the Metro Rail.
