Description

Shafiqa Ahmadi, associate professor of clinical education at the Rossier School of Education, and the co-director for the Center for Education, Identity and Social Justice at University of Southern California, will speak Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, at 4 p.m. Her talk is titled “Muslim College Students at the Intersection of Laws, Politics and Religion.” Ahmadi is a lawyer and expert on diversity and legal protection of underrepresented students, including Muslims, bias and hate crimes, and Title IX and gender issues.

This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. RSVP recommended, as seating is limited.
