About this event
Tis the season for community, sharing, gift giving… and some might say peppermint mocha. It’s been an exciting year and we want to thank you for helping us build a better tech community and for supporting each other on this journey. And with every accomplishment comes a celebration.
You’re invited to join PDXWIT and host Autodesk as we celebrate another year of changemaking! During the event, you’ll hear from our new Executive Director, and we’ll reveal the winners of our 2022 Speaker Awards as well as the 2022 Community Changemaker Award. Whether you’re attending in-person or virtual, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about how to volunteer with PDXWIT, get the scoop on our fundraising efforts, as well as a chance to connect directly with recruiters.

Purpose:
We are building a better tech industry by creating access, dismantling barriers and fueling belonging. Our events are inclusive. ALL people who support our purpose are welcome.
COVID Safety FAQ:
Q: Will masks be required in indoor spaces? Will masks be required outside? Will hand sanitizer be provided and plentiful?
A:
Masks are optional.
Hosts will provide plentiful hand sanitizer.
We will ask all attendees to certify that they are vaccinated.

Q: What is the in-person event capacity?
A: 100 in-person attendees.
Q: Will there be gender neutral restrooms?
A: Yes
Q: Is the space ADA accessible?
A: Yes, volunteers will be outside of the building helping attendees with accessibility needs.
Q: Will there be food and drink at this event?
A: Yes!
Q: What is the parking situation?
A: Street parking is located nearby. Shuttles and public transportation nearby as well.
Q: Is there any special information that might help me find the entrance?
A: The entrance is located on Ankeny. PDXWIT volunteers will be out front with green shirts on to greet you.
Q: Is there secured bike parking?
A: Outdoor racks are available and limited indoor.
Q: Should I consider using public transportation?
A: Autodesk is located near public transportation. Please use your own judgment when deciding to take public transportation.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: No, sadly.
