Are you an entrepreneur or software developer interested in collaboration or support? This intimate dinner event will be hosted by a PDXWIT community member, Jesseca Ryan, to bring together entrepreneurs working in tech and software developers who like working on startup projects. Over delicious food and beverages we’ll discuss how we can be allies, support each other’s work, and overcome obstacles in getting a tech startup off the ground. This event is ideal for those who want to engage with the PDXWIT community, but might feel overwhelmed at the larger social events. We hope this event catalyzes connections that develop into something bigger in 2017 and beyond.
PDXWIT is a community-based non-profit organization. Our purpose is to strengthen the Portland women in tech community by offering educational programs, partnerships, mentorships, resources and opportunities. We are unifying a supportive environment for current and potential women in tech, all of whom are committed to helping each other. Our goal is to bring together and empower women in tech and to encourage others to pursue tech careers. This is our step towards reducing the gender imbalance in the industry and addressing the current negative effects of that imbalance on women.
Trans and non-binary people are always welcome at our events.
