WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

Oregon’s stop motion animation industry has been making content and winning awards since the 1970’s and has grown into an industry supporting hundreds of jobs - spending tens of millions of dollars in the state on an annual basis. Along the way it has developed its own technology and maximized the use of new and existing technology to create well known animated films like Coraline and Kubo & the Two Strings, and many projects currently in production here in the state.

Technology Association of Oregon and Oregon Film invite you to a Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, November 13th from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm for an intimate conversation between Tim Williams, Oregon Film Executive Director, and Sarah Serata, Producer of Wendell and Wild a stopmotion animated feature for Netflix, about the intersection of animation and technology - past, present and future.
