THE EVENT

Join your ProjectDox User Group peers for this two-day conference to focus on all things ePlan, attend technical training and product sessions, and learn from each other on how to leverage ProjectDox in your departments and communities!

Your Early Bird Registration Fee - offered through March 15, 2020 - of $649.00 (plus processing fees) covers your conference expenses for all sessions, materials, and lunch (2) and dinner (1) meals. You are responsible for travel and lodging-related costs.

Regular Registration begins on March 16, 2020 at the rate of $699.00 (plus processing fees).

AGENDA
The two-day agenda* includes relevant keynote presentations, interactive discussion with ProjectDox experts, breakout training sessions, product feedback, updates and sneak peeks, and plenty of opportunities to network with other users! Continental breakfast and lunch are included in your conference registration, as well as a networking dinner event on Tuesday evening.

This interactive session focuses on best practices for ProjectDox Building workflows and use cases. Course will be co-presented by Avolve experts and Building department customer users, and will involve interactive sharing and discussion on relevant building-related topics and uses of Avolve solutions.
Participant Level: Basic - Intended for users interested in sharing and learning best practices for Building. Presentation Style: Lecture/Demonstration/Interactive. Class Duration: 1.5

Option 2. Solution Best Practices for Planning
This interactive session focuses on best practices for ProjectDox Planning workflows and use cases. Course will be co-presented by Avolve experts and Planning department customer users, and will involve interactive sharing and discussion on relevant planning-related topics and uses of Avolve solutions.
Participant Level: Basic - Intended for users interested in sharing and learning best practices for Planning. Presentation Style: Lecture/Demonstration/Interactive. Class Duration: 1.5

Option 3. Solution Best Practices for Public Works
This interactive session focuses on best practices for ProjectDox Public Works workflows and use cases. Course will be co-presented by Avolve experts and Public Works department customer users, and will involve interactive sharing and discussion on relevant public works-related topics and uses of Avolve solutions.
Participant Level: Basic - Intended for users interested in sharing and learning best practices for Public Works. Presentation Style: Lecture/Demonstration/Interactive. Class Duration: 1.5

DAY TWO – WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 2020

Option 1. Managing Users: the HR of ProjectDox

How to manage internal and external User accounts and permissions. Creating, auditing, assigning permissions, groups, roles, reassigning tasks, revoking accounts.

Participant Level: Project and Systems Administrators are intended audience. Prerequisite: Ability to navigate the Project Edit screen and/or Admin drop-down. Presentation Style: Discussion/ Demonstration (Participants are welcome to bring laptops to practice exercises within their own sites’ test environment.) Class Duration: 1.25

Option 2. Stamps

Explore the creation, editing, and usage of stamp templates and batch stamp templates.

Participant Level: Intermediate to Advanced. Prerequisite: Basic Markup skills: Inserting, editing, and grouping text and shapes. Presentation Style: Discussion/Demonstration (Participants are welcome to bring laptops to practice exercises within their own sites’ test environment.) Class Duration: 1.25

Option 3. Creating New Project Groups and Adding to the Review Config

Learn how to add a new project group/review department to be selected to participate in a review for an existing project, as well as how to add for future projects/plan reviews using the Review Configuration Manager.

Participant Level: Project and System Administrators. Prerequisite: Competence with editing projects and project templates; familiarity with Workflow instance designer. Presentation Style: Discussion/Demonstration. Class Duration: 1.25

Option 1. Troubleshooting ProjectDox

Explore techniques for identifying and resolving day-to day-challenges associated with ProjectDox Core, Viewer, and ProjectFlow. We will focus on the User Interface, not access to back-end servers.

Participant Level: Intermediate to Advanced. Prerequisite: Basic competence with Core, Viewer, and ProjectFlow components. Presentation Style: Discussion/Demonstration (Participants are welcome to bring laptops to practice exercises within their own sites’ test environment.) Class Duration: 1.25

Option 2. Reporting and Dashboard Creation

Exploring techniques and best practices for creating effective dashboards and reports. Will include user examples from jurisdictions.

Participant Level: Open. Prerequisite: None. Presentation Style: Discussion/Demonstration. Class Duration: 1.25

Option 3. Basic Application Form and Letter/Notification Design and New Features

Learn how to make basic edits to OAS plan review and self-service/over-the-counter application forms and letters. Learn about new feature and tools released in OAS versions 2 and 3 that can be used to enhance the user experience.

Participant Level: Open. Prerequisite: None. Presentation Style: Discussion/Demonstration (Participants are welcome to bring laptops to practice exercises within their own sites’ test environment.) Class Duration: 1.25
