Description

This is a unique PD Day to spark your imagination and build robots like a professional roboticist

What students will learn:

- Engineering Design Process
- Robotics and mechatronics
- Main concepts of programming
- Arduino and microcontrollers
- Autodesk TinkerCAD
- 3D Printing and 3D Design

ROBOT BUILDING BONANZA

What to expect:

You will learn to design and manufacture a programmable and functional robot with different digital manufacturing techniques. We will also introduce you to Arduino electronics, Ez-Robot, and AI Jetson-nano technologies(introduction) and how to use it in robots. Some of the digital tools you will learn to include Fritzing (design electronics circuits), TinkerCAD and Blender (3D design), Studuino (C), Ez-builder (C#) and Python (Learn the basics of programming), App Inventor2(Design mobile apps to control the robots)

This is an excellent opportunity for our talents to hang out with friends and work together, making creative projects in a relaxing environment.

Typical Daily Schedule

8:30 AM Open the Lab and receive the extended care Morning
9:00 AM Hands-on STEM Workshop
10:30 AM First Nutrition Break
10:45 AM Continue Workshop and Creation
12:00 PM Lunch
1:00 PM Back to classroom and creation
2:30 PM Second Nutrition Break2:45 PM Outdoor STEM activities, weather permitted3:30 PM Return to the Lab, wind up for the end of the day4:00 PM Pick-up and Extended Care PM start 5:00 PM Lab is closed
