Publicity Club of Chicago brings its popular Education Series for Public Relations Professionals to the suburbs. Join us on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017 for two sessions that will help new and seasoned professionals increase their effectiveness in writing and in pitching the media.

Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. and there will be time for networking between panels.


Writing for Public Relations
1 – 2:30 p.m.

Learn how to write more impactful subject lines/headlines; refresh your AP Style skills; and energize your writing.

Presenter: Lisa O’Toole, Assistant Professor, Communications, Lewis University.

Creating a Successful Media Pitch
3 – 4:30 p.m.

Hear from local PR professionals and journalists about what makes a good media pitch, how to best prepare for media, and what journalists don’t want to see in a pitch.
