Sharknado: How to Leverage Social Media During a Crisis
Wednesday, October 9th(LATE REG FEE WAIVED)
Just like that crazy made-for-TV movie, our PR industry has seen its own share of disasters in 2013. Remember the #cruisefromhell that grew out of the Carnival cruise ship stranded at sea? How about social media messes for Applebee’s, Abercrombie & Fitch, even profanity on the Chicago Fire soccer team’s website? Sooner or later, every company, client or product will encounter some sort of crisis. How you handle it on social media can help you or hurt you, launch your career or end it. Don’t miss this panel discussion where experts who’ve “walked the walk” will share their real-world experiences of using social media to save their clients or companies during a crisis.
