PCC Presents: Make Your Weekend Count: How to Get Weekend News Coverage
Saturdays and Sundays are no longer lazy days for communications professionals. Our companies and clients want brand exposure 24/7/365. But getting news coverage of your event, announcement, product or executives on a weekend can be a challenge, especially in an age of smaller news staffs and reduced PR/marketing budgets. So, how can you entice a weekend reporter, producer or editor to pay attention to your pitch? A panel of weekend news producers and assignment editors will tell PCC members the best pitches and most thoughtful, newsworthy events and announcements that will generate their interest and get you the weekend news coverage you want.
