The Publicity Club of Chicago celebrates its 58th Annual “Golden Trumpet Awards” presentation – the most prestigious awards program for public relations professionals in the region. These coveted awards honor distinguished individual achievement in the planning, creativity and execution of public relations and communications initiatives.

The event will be emceed by Aaron Freeman, a science satirist, who spent three years as a performer on the main stage of Chicago’s Second City Improv Theater, where his fellow cast members included Bonnie Hunt and Mike Meyers.

David Axelrod, nationally respected political consultant and strategist, will be presented with PCC's Lifetime Achievement Award.

And every award winner could also bring home one of the Top 5 Golden Trumpet Specialty Awards: Creativity, Quality of Life, Branding, Technology Achievement Award and Platinum Award (for the best overall public relations program).
