Welcome to Pasadena City College's Cash For College Event!

Get FREE expert help completing your 2018-2019 Financial Aid application!

Register NOW!

Several Sesions are available to select from. Select one (1) session to register for per student attending. In order to be processed, registration MUST be in the student's name. Duplicate registrations will be voided/deleted.


  • 8:30 am - 9:00 am Check-in

  • 9:00 am Workshop and Hands On Session (Opening Session & College Resource Information included with this ticket) Refreshments Provided During Opening Session

  • 11:00 am Workshop and Hands on Session (Please arrive 10 -15 minutes prior to check in)

  • 12:00 pm Workshop and Hands on Session (Please arrive 10 -15 minutes prior to check in)


What I need to bring to the event to successfully complete my financial aid application?

Make sure to bring your eventbrite ticket and the following documents:

Checklist of important documents you need to help complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) and Chafee for Foster Youth application.
Come to the Cash for College workshop with the following documents you have and that apply to you:

  • Driver’s license, if you have one
  • Social Security Card or number, if you have one
  • Alien registration number, if you have one
  • Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) – yours or your parents’
  • Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) number, if you have one
  • List of colleges you are interested in attending
  • NEW THIS YEAR – The FAFSA and CADAA applications will utilize your 2016 tax and income information to apply for 2018-19 student aid. While completing the FAFSA, you will use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) to populate your 2016 tax information. No need to bring tax and income information UNLESS YOU HAVE NOT FILED 2016 TAXES.

What are my parking options for getting to and from the event?

FREE Parking available in Lot 3 only. Lot 3 is located on Hill and Cordova.

All other lots have a fee and you will be cited if you do not purchase a parking permit.

What multi-language help will be offered?

Presentations will be offered in English and Spanish. In the labs for hands -on help; staff that speaks Enlgish, Spanish, and Armenian will be available. If you need other language accomodations, please contact the event organizer 3 weeks before the event and we will do our best to accomodate you on the day of the event.

Will there be on-site registration?

Yes. On-site registration will be availble. Please note that lunch is not guaranteed for on-site registrants. If you want lunch, we highly recommend you pre-register.
