Description

Join Prevent Child Abuse Iowa for a day dedicated to strengthening families in Iowa! We’ve partnered with state experts to offer five regional trainings on strategies that can improve your work with families and increase community commitment for building safe, nurturing environments for kids. These meetings also include networking among professional partners and an evening forum to engage leaders in discussions about issues that matter for Iowa’s children and families.

Registration is from 8:30-9 a.m., with training from 9-4:00 p.m. Participants have the option to pay $15.00 to order lunch for the day of the event. Place orders during registration by selecting the desired number of lunches under "Order Your Lunch (Optional)".

Anyone is welcome to attend; participation is strongly encouraged for Iowa Child Abuse Prevention Program (ICAPP) and Community-Based Child Abuse Prevention Program (CBCAP) grantees. This training is free.
