Event description

Description

Join us on Saturday, January 27th for Edcamp! WNET and Edcamp are teaming up to present PBS Edcamp for educators of young children. PreK – 5th grade teachers are invited to come and experience a one-of-a-kind professional development opportunity where educators like you choose the topics, lead the discussions and learn directly from your peers. It will be a fun day of learning packed with sessions from preschool and elementary educators around NYC.

This is a FREE event, so mark your calendars and join the learning!

**CTLE credits are available for this event**

What is EdCamp?

  • EdCamps are FREE to all attendees. This helps ensure that all different types of educators and educational stakeholders can attend.

  • EdCamps traditionally don’t have pre-scheduled presentations. During the morning of the event, the schedule will be created in conjunction with everyone there. Sessions will be spontaneous, interactive and responsive to participants’ needs. Presenters CAN pre-plan and are welcome to bring materials with them. (Table discussion, groups of educators leading a conversation, presenters come with an idea and begin the discussion)
