Hello Pay-it-Forward Network,
Everyone is welcome to attend this free training seminar. Highly qualified members have volunteered to share their expertise so that we may continue to learning and stay engaged. There will be two sessions:
Session #1 (8:45 - 10:15)
Patricia DuBois: Professional Data Scientist/ Expert in Data Analytics, Data Mining and Data Sharing across functions and platforms https://www.linkedin.com/in/duboisconsultants
John Walsh: Director - Technical Water Treating at Cetco Energy Services https://www.linkedin.com/in/johnwalshshell
Title: Water Injection Primer for Geologist and Engineers involved in water disposal and water flood.
There are many common factors geologists and engineers must consider when evaluating the feasibility and design criteria for a SWD (salt water disposal) or WIW (water injection well - waterflood), and even reviewing a proposed disposal-injection well for protest. This discussion will outline a basic workflow from conception to injection and will include critical factors to be considered at each phase of the process.

Session #2 (10:30 - 12:00)
Volunteer Speaker: Jeff Whittaker Western Hemisphere - Sales & Marketing Manager at EV https://www.linkedin.com/in/jefferywhittaker
Training Category: Well Intervention
Title of Training: Moving the Oil and Gas Sector into the Video Age: Vision Assisted Well Interventions Reduce Cost and Add Value
Downhole cameras have traditionally been regarded as emergency tools to address immediate, unexpected problems. However, with advances in image clarity and data density, combined with carefully planned interventions, camera technologies provide highly intuitive and accurate diagnostic and surveillance information that reduces uncertainty and increases the effectiveness of resulting remedial work. Efficiency is now enhanced further through the integration of quantitative logging data with the camera in a single run to offer a truly robust interpretation answer and effectively provide vision to downhole data. This presentation will the showcase applications of downhole camera in the use of mechanical inspection applications, water shut off applications, and P&A applications of downhole video to reduce intervention costs.
You must reserve your ticket to attend. And because space is limited, you must unregister by logging into Eventbrite.com if cannot attend so that others on the waiting list may take your seat.
We encourage you to forward this invitation to friend so that they may also have the opportunity to learn and stay engaged.
