Hello Pay-it-Forward Network,
Everyone is welcome to attend this free training seminar. Highly qualified members have volunteered to share their expertise so that we may continue to learning and stay engaged.
Volunteer Speaker: Scott Bufton (Upstream executive and flow assurance expert) https://www.linkedin.com/in/scottbufton
Title: Flow Assurance and Operability - Keeping Upstream Hydrocarbons Moving.
Abstract: Flow assurance is about designing a system to ensure the successful flow of hydrocarbons from "point A to point B", usually in the upstream context of wellbores, flowlines, pipelines, and (if subsea) risers. It requires knowledge of fluid mechanics and dynamics, thermodynamics, mass transfer, heat transfer, and solids and inhibitor chemistry. This training will provide an overview of the key aspects of flow assurance including: multiphase and single phase fluid flow; hydrates, wax, asphaltenes and other potential solids; strategies for solid deposition management; and system operability for both steady state and transient operations.
You must reserve your ticket to attend. And because space is limited, you must unregister by logging into Eventbrite.com if cannot attend so that others on the waiting list may take your seat.
We encourage you to forward this invitation to friend so that they may also have the opportunity to learn and stay engaged.
