"Come ready to paint!"

The fall colors should be in full display in Plain and Leavenworth in October and we'll be painting that as well as several structures in the area. Our first day will be on Lake Wenatchee (5 miles north of Plain) where the focus will be on the water, boulders, trees. Closer to Plain (14 miles north of Leavenworth), Susan has scoped out lodges, barns, tractors, a winery and of course the fall foliage. Day three will take us into Leavenworth where we?ll paint on the shore of the Wenatchee River at Waterfront Park or you can set up your easel on the main street and paint downtown Leavenworth. Icicle Canyon is a possibility, we'll stay flexible for that.

In addition to your regular plein air painting gear, it's always a good idea to carry extra water. Packing food for a few unexpected meals is advised. Warm clothes/layers/hand warmers.

There are bathrooms, shelters, and picnic tables at Lake Wenatchee State Park. On the second day, depending on where we paint, there will be little to no facilities, however we will be within a few minutes drive from Plain. Bring extra water, wear layers.

Cell coverage:
It's unlikely that cell coverage will be good, plan accordingly.

**Lake Wenatchee Park is a state park so you will need a Discover Pass to park in the lot.**

Susan & Rose will be wearing our new PAWA aprons so you can easily spot us!

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? As long as you are a PAWA member. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, the facilitator should have a member list and cell phone numbers to conduct a headcount.

It is a good idea to print out this Eventbrite page and bring with you to be able to refer to this information. Thank you for signing up and HAPPY PAINTING!

Please try and carpool with other PAWA members anytime you can! You may post on our Facebook page to share transportation. If you find you can't attend after all, please cancel on Eventbrite so that the facilitator may have a proper head count, thanks!
