Get to know paw paw, a native fruit tree! Learn about where to find paw paw, how to grow them, and more. After the workshop, feel free to stay for a community potluck at the garden starting around 7:00 p.m.—free and open to the public! Bring some food or drink to share.
Members of registered GreenThumb gardens may be eligible to bring 2 pawpaw trees back to their community gardens. If you are interested, please reach out to Workshops Coordinator Mara Gittleman by Sept. 12 at mara.gittleman@parks.nyc.gov.
