Paul Youn is the President of The D-Prize, and an impact investor. D-Prize offers seed funding to help launch new poverty fighting ventures in the developing world. Its focus is on scaling up distribution of already proven poverty solutions. Many cheap and effective solutions already exist; the challenge today is in distributing these solutions to the people who need it most.

Paul is also the Technical Director of a technology consulting firm called iSEC Partners, where he helps to run the San Francisco office. Paul also is involved in volunteering and early-stage talent screening at One Acre Fund, a nonprofit organization that distributes farm inputs and training to 130,000 rural farmers in Africa.

Paul received a B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science and a Masters in Engineering, both from MIT.
