So You Think You Can Dance Canada veteran Paul Becker is a trusted friend and the go-to collaborator for many of Hollywood's biggest productions. This Canadian import has worked closely with everyone from Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, The Jonas Brothers, The Muppets, Michael Buble, Ciara and even directed and created for Kanye West. In the musical world he has staged numbers for Broadway legends like Ben Vereen, Kristin Chenoweth and Neil Patrick Harris.
Despite the recent hype…Becker is content to let his body of work speak for itself. And what an impressive body of work it is. From choreographing over 200 film and tv projects, like “Twilight”, & “Mirror Mirror” and Zack Snyder’s “Sucker Punch” to “Diary of a Wimpy Kid 1-3”, & the series choreographer for “A Series of Unfortunate Evens”(Netflix), “Once Upon” a Time”(ABC) and creating every finger spell through tuts in “Magicians”. Becker’s choreography in the 2016 remake of “Adventures in Babysitting” for Disney was an absolute hit.
Becker recently worked with his mentor, famed director Kenny Ortega, as his choreography partner for Disney Channel's mega hit musical Descendants starring Dove Cameron. Disney broke records with Descendants thanks to the musical numbers.
If that isn’t enough… Paul is creating 2 brand new circus’ for the Ringling Brothers and has just been appointed the creative director of the PanAm Games in Toronto and to top it off… Paul just wrote, directed, and choreographed a tap dance drama feature film “Breaking Brooklyn” starring Academy Award winner Louis Gossett Jr, Vondie Curtis Hall and Madeleine Mantock to be released in 2017.
