Patrick Henry is known as a defender of liberty, but he was also a champion for religious freedom who battled in the halls of government for the legal right of members of all faiths to “worship according to their consciences.”

Visit Patrick Henry's Scotchtown, a Preservation Virginia historic site, Sundays at 2:30 p.m. for the "Patrick Henry: Champion of Religious Freedom" tour to learn about Henry's fight for religious freedom during colonial America.

Ticket Pricing:

  • General Admission: $10

  • AAA Members, Seniors (60+), Military (Retired or Active Duty): $9

  • Students: $7

  • Children 6 and under: Free

Preservation Virginia members must present a valid membership card in order to recieve free admission on site.
