Patricia Smith and Lynne Thompson: Poetry Reading, Conversation and Party !

Poetry on the Wharf featuring Patricia Smith and Lynne Thompson. Patricia, who just won the National Book Award for Poetry, and Lynne, the fourth Poet Laureate of Los Angeles, are best friends, and this might be the first time that they have ever read together. We expect that the conversations will be as remarkable as the poetry. Doors will open at 6 PM for socializing, and the reading will begin at 7 PM. Join us for the holiday poetry celebration to end all poetry celebrations! There will be food and wine. This is your chance to party with the poetry goddesses.
