Please note that individual registration is required to attend these learning sessions and places will only be assigned to those attending as part of a care team and will be limited to two care teams per NHS Board area. Only care teams with between 3 and five team members who have confirmed they will attend both sessions will be allocated a place. An introduction to practically applying using care experience feedback for improvement in your own care setting. PERTH

 

 Registration

Objectives of the learning session:

 To enable care teams to effectively implement the care experience improvement model in their own setting.

  • To provide participants with enough knowledge and insight into the care experience improvement model to:
    • capture care experience feedback
    • hold a reflective improvement care team meeting, and
    • structure quality improvement activity based on care experience feedback.

 Follow-up session

A half-day follow-up session has been arranged for 12 February 2019 at the Perth Concert Hall from 9.30am to 1pm  - please note change in venue from first session. 

 

Expectations of attendees

  • Attend both sessions.
  • Attend as a care team, where possible to include a multidisciplinary team e.g. nursing, AHP, medical, team or organisational leads for quality improvement and person-centred care.
  • Have obtained the buy in and support from executive leadership/senior management.
  • Are committed to testing and adapting this approach in your own context.
  • Will share progress, learning and experience at a second session. 

 

Expenses

 

As this is a free open learning event, expenses will not be offered unless participants travel is over 2 hours - please contact the team on hcis.personcentredscot@nhs.net to confirm arrangements in advance.
