PATCH for Providers Symposium

The inaugural PATCH for Providers Symposium will bring teens and health care professionals from across the state of Wisconsin together to explore, in depth, the sensitive health topics affecting teens today and best practices in providing care for adolescent patients.
This conference presented by PATCH and the Wisconsin Alliance for Women's Health is geared towards health care professionals including, nurses, doctors, clinicians, medical students or residents, therapists, counselors, pharmacists, social workers, and any other front-end/support staff.
PATCH is approved to offer continuing education at the symposium for CME, CNE, CECH, CEH! See below for more details.
As a part of the 2017 PATCH Symposium, health care professionals and youth will be:
Engaged in a meaningful conversation about the quality of adolescent healthcare. Building the capacity of adolescent health champions, resources, and support in Wisconsin;
Educated on adolescent's concerns, fears and preferences in healthcare settings.Gaining new insights, knowledge and skills from today's youth;
Empowered to identify challenges and advocate for change in clinics, health centers and workplaces. The beginning to a healthier future generation.
Physicians: ARHP* has approved this activity for a maximum of 5.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.™
Nurses: ARHP has approved this activity for a maximum of 5.0 contact hours.
Health Educators (CHES and/or MCHES): NCHEC** has approved this activity for a maximum of 5.0 total Category I and a maximum of 1.0 advanced-level continuing education contact hours.
Social Workers: NASW WI*** has approved this activity for a maximum of 5.0 continuing education hours.
