FAQs
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Novella's is two minutes off of Exit 18 on the NY Throughway and walking distance from the Trailways NY park-and-ride stop. There are ample parking spots and two hotels within walking distance as well: the new Hampton Inn and America's Best Value Inn.
Can children participate?
Yes! All Kol Hai events are multigenerational and there will be inspiring and fun activities for all ages including an Afikomen Scavenger Hunt!
Is this a vegetarian meal? Will it be "kosher for Passover"? Do I need to bring anything?
The kitchen preparing our food will not be fastidiously cleaned as is the tradition for Passover. We are working with the chef to prepare a kosher-style meal with no explicit chometz or treif to be served. There will be ample vegetarian options.
Menu
- Vegetarian Matzoh Ball Soup
- Mixed Green Salad
- Braised Grass-fed Beef Brisket
- Baked Salmon with herbal pesto
- Herb Roasted Chicken
- Red Potatoes with Parsley
- Potato Kugel
- Mixed Vegetable Medley
- Macaroons, Chocolate Covered Matzo, and Fresh Fruit for dessert
Do I have to be Jewish to attend?
No. "Kol Hai" means "all life" in Hebrew; all are welcomed. All rituals are offered in an accessible manner. Bring an open heart and curious spirit.
What if I can't afford the full price?
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please email hello@kolhai.org letting us know what you can afford and we'll let you know how to register. Thanks. Early Bird Discount ends March 16 at 6 pm.
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
