PASE Presents! Mindfulness + Stress Reduction for After-School Staff
Working with youth can be incredibly rewarding, but also stress inducing. Without the tools to effectively manage challenges, there is high risk of burnout. Research shows that mindfulness practices support youth workers in various ways, such as improving interpersonal relationships, and reducing stress and burnout. This workshop will strengthen participants’ presence, compassion and communication – the inner resources they need to support themselves and their work, as well as their ability to help youth flourish and succeed. It includes interactive activities, exercises and strategies specifically designed for after-school staff.
This session is a presentation of services.
Coffee/tea provided. Participants are welcome to bring breakfast with them.
Participants will receive certificates upon completion of the training
