Party For The People: Candidate Happy Hour & Hang Out

We're throwing a big ol' party! Join your friends in Austin, Texas, on Thursday, 2/20, to hang out and get to know the folks who are running to represent you over a happy hour drink. We're talking everybody from commissioner to U.S. Congress.

Local government is tricky, but it doesn't have to be. We're inviting all local candidates running in March 2020’s Texas primary to come hang out - from Travis County Commissioner to US Congress. Each candidate will have a table for you to visit (think of it like a Farmer's Market... but for democracy). We'll also have job descriptions for each office printed out so you know what each position does because, hey, civics class was a long time ago

We want you to get to know your candidates for yourself and even share a Lonestar with them. We vote on March 3, and the general election is just around the corner.
