Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Partners in Justice is an annual event that highlights the important and wonderful

work that is done by members of our Spokane community. These individuals,

businesses, or agencies display a strong commitment to justice for all, going

above and beyond to help victims of sexual assault or other crimes. Nominations

are open to everyone in the Spokane community. See the FAQs below for more

To help make this event sustainable, we will be collecting donations to support

the SAFeT Response Center and Crime Victims Service Center. This will help us

to continue to honor those who have helped change the lives of victims.

The award ceremony will honor those who have exemplified the mission of the

award. Located at Barrister Winery, guests will have the opportunity to purchase

wine. Small snacks will be provided. Doors open at 5pm, with the ceremony

starting promptly at 6pm.

How are the winners chosen?

We will be collecting nominations until May 19th. Lutheran Community Services NW staff will then vote on who receives the award based on the submitted nominations. Those who recieve the Partners in Justice Award are seen to exemplify the ideals of serving victims.

Why is it just from LCSNW?

The final awards come from LCSNW because we wish to honor the individuals, business, or agencies who make a difference in the lives of our clients.

How will this event be different from last year?

This year we are trying to increase the sustainability of this event by asking for donations. We enjoy honoring our community for their service to victims. As a non-profit though, our primary service is to victims. Collecting donations better ensures that we are able to honor those who go above and beyond without taking away from our clients and their direct needs.

Similarly, this year will feature a no-host bar. This means that participants can buy wine and beer from Barrister Winery's vast selection rather than our limited options.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Parking is available across the alley along S. Jefferson St. Street parking is suggested. Spokane Transit Route 43 Drops off one block south at 2nd and Jefferson.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?

If you have questions, please email

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No! We will trust you. All nominees and their nominators are invited. If there are additional guests, please register them in your reservation.

Will there be food?

Light refreshment/snacks will be served and wine and beer will be available for purchase from Barrister Winery. Please remember to honor the service you recieve through tips and donations. Thank you!
