Description

We get it. Changing your career and learning the necessary skills to be a successful software developer is a challenge. The struggle is real, but the reward is great. Join Hannah Ingham and Heather Cherewaty as they talk about Code Fellows' Tutoring Program, who the tutors are, how and when to get extra support while learning to code, as well as other helpful tips you can use along your coding journey from code 101 through 401 and beyond.

About the presenters:

Hannah is a software developer with Slalom Build in Seattle Washington, and a graduate of Code Fellow's Advanced Software Development in Full Stack JavaScript. She earned her master of arts in teaching at Lewis & Clark college and taught secondary math before transitioning to a career in software development. She loves that Code Fellows creates life long students and teachers, and enjoys using her background in education to support new developers learning the craft.

Heather is the Tutoring Program Manager at Code Fellows and also a graduate of Advanced Software Development in Full Stack JavaScript. She worked in biotech and business prior to joining the Code Fellows team. She's passionate about helping people and Code Fellows' vision of "Software development skills for a better life, for a better community, and for a better world".
