Event description
This Workshop is presented by The Rev. Canon C.K. Robertson, Ph.D., Canon to the Presiding Bishop for Ministry beyond the Episcopal Church.

About this Event

So you belong to a local congregation. That’s wonderful!

But it also means that you are part of a larger thing called the Diocese of Rhode Island.

And you are part of a still larger thing found in every state and several countries called The Episcopal Church.

AND you are part of the third largest group of Christians on the planet, the worldwide Anglican Communion.

But what does that mean, and why does it matter? What is the Via Media, and why is Common Prayer so important?

This workshop addresses these questions through presentation, conversation, and interactive exercises.

So come and learn something new about your wonderful, familiar faith. Prepare to become both time travelers and spiritual detectives, and thereby discover the gift to the world that is Anglican Christianity.
