Panelists:

Reza Zadeh is a Canadian-Iranian Computer Scientist working on Machine Learning. He is an adjunct professor at Stanford University and Founder CEO at Matroid. He has served on the technical advisory board of Microsoft and Databricks. His work focuses on Machine Learning, Distributed Computing, and Discrete Applied Mathematics. Reza received his PhD in Computational Mathematics from Stanford University.



Ahmad Wani is the co-founder and CEO of One Concern. He was named by the Forbes magazine as one of the world's top thirty innovators, in its Forbes 30 under 30 edition in January 2016. Earlier in his career, he performed structural design and risk analysis for power plants for the Central Government of India. Ahmad holds a graduate degree in Structural and Earthquake Engineering from Stanford University.



Mehdi Samadi is Co-Founder and former CTO of Solvvy, a Machine learning startup reinventing the customer experience which has been featured in the Wall Street Journal. Mehdi is an entrepreneur, research scientist, and a software engineer. He was recently named by Forbes as one of the "30 to watch under 30." Mehdi received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.



Majid Emami Co-Founded SoundHound Inc. in 2005 and serves as its Vice President of Engineering. Mr. Emami is responsible for managing the development of SoundHound’s core technologies. Prior to SoundHound, Majid served as a key technology advisor to a number of companies in Silicon Valley. Mr. Emami has a master’s degree and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
