Event description
Parking and Entry Reservation for Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary

About this Event

Thank you for planning your visit to Broadmoor--please read the following carefully.

In an effort to keep our visitors and staff safe by allowing for plenty of social and physical distancing, we are limiting visitation to Broadmoor. Visitors need to make a reservation for a specific arrival time. There will be no tickets available on site. ALL VISITORS ARE EXPECTED TO END THEIR VISIT BEFORE DARK! Thank you for your cooperation.

Please note: For everyone’s safety, there will be no access to buildings, restrooms or water fountains. In keeping with State guidelines, masks or cloth face coverings are required--please see details below.

Reservations

Please select your arrival time. Note: We cannot accommodate any date changes, cancellations, or refunds once an order has been placed. Please be aware that, while our sanctuaries are open in all weather, there may be occasional trail or sanctuary closures on short notice due to high winds, thunder/lightning, or sudden storms.

Reservations for non members are $6 for adults and $4 for seniors and children ages 2-12. Reservations are free for Mass Audubon members, EBT Cardholders, ConnectorCare Card to Culture Cardholders, DCF foster families with current Wonderfund Access Card, aides/companions to people with special needs, Active Duty US Military Families, and Natick and Sherborn residents. Please show your reservation confirmation (and corresponding card, if applicable) upon arrival.

Not a member? Join today to take advantage of our new member special. You can show your email confirmation upon arrival.

Upon Arrival

Please be ready to show your reservation confirmation (either printed or on a mobile device) and associated membership card, if applicable.

Please follow our Trail Guidelines including:

  • Keep at least 6 feet apart from staff and other visitors.
  • Visitors over the age of 5 are required to wear a mask or cloth face covering over their mouth and nose while at the Sanctuary. Masks or face coverings are strongly encouraged for children between the ages of 2 and 5. If a visitor refuses to wear a mask or cloth face covering for non-medical reasons, we reserve the right under State guidelines to decline entry to that individual.
  • Do not gather in groups of people from outside of your household.
  • Be aware that some wooden surfaces, including benches, picnic tables, and Nature Play Areas, cannot be sanitized.
  • No bikes.
  • Please leave dogs and pets at home. Service animals are welcome.

FAQs

Why do we have to reserve parking in advance?

To ensure the safety of our members, guests, and staff, we are limiting the number of people onsite at any given time. In addition, online and advance parking reservations enable you to make contactless payment.

Will there be any restrooms or water fountains?

For everyone’s safety, all buildings and restrooms are currently closed. That also means there are no water fountains available. Please plan ahead.

How far in advance can I reserve parking?

For the moment, we are only offering Parking & Entry reservations 1-2 days in advance. We plan to have more flexibility to book further in advance in the future. Check our website frequently for updates.

Can I get reserve parking when I arrive at the sanctuary?

No. All reservations must be booked online in advance of your visit.

How long can I stay once I am there?

While you must arrive during your reserved time slot, you can stay for as long as you like. Be aware that there are no facilities on site (meaning no restrooms or water fountains).

What if I need to cancel?

Unfortunately, the reservations are nonrefundable and we cannot accommodate any date changes at the moment.

What if I just joined Mass Audubon online and don’t have a member card?

Thank you so much for your membership support! Your email confirmation of your membership will serve as your temporary membership card. Please show that email along with your reservation confirmation when you arrive.

If you have any further questions, please contact us at broadmoor@massaudubon.org.
