Description
50% Competition, 50% Party, 100% Coder-Centric.
Paris Coders Night(PCN) is an evening like no other, dedicate to Coders. Open to Coders & friends, PCN is first and foremost a social gathering celebrating developers. The evening centers around a competition among coders, during coders go head-to-head to see who is the King (or Queen) of Code.
PCN is not a hackathon - whether you win, lose, or come as an audience member, everyone walks away with new friends and a great experience. The event is a great team-building exercise, a great way to support your friends, and a great way for companies to show off just how good their coders are.
**The Rules**
Coders compete head-to-head to code a given website from scratch using only the tools they have in front of them and a screenshot & image files provided to each coder. There is only one rule: No Previewing in the Browser. It's just the Coder and his code, and after 15 minutes, all Coders preview their code in the browser together, and the winner is chosen by audience vote.
The winners will receive awesome prizes, though the best prize will be the title of King of Code.

--- FAQ ---
Will contestants use their own computers?
Yes, you will use your own computer. Syntax highlighting editors are fine, however we do not want to see any macros or anything generating HTML for you. Remember, you're in the dark and you're alone, not on a chocolate factory with a swiss army knife.
Can I have logos, colors, etc. about the site?
Yes, each round we will provide the contestants with a URL to a bundle including everything they'll need such as an image of the original page, relevant assets such as images/sprites and if necessary text contents.
In what browser will we preview the code?
In the most up-to-date, public/stable version of Google Chrome (what you're suggested to download the day of the event at Google.com/chrome)
Recommended Tools?
To keep it simple, use a bare bones version of Sublime Text. Notepad++ is also good.
