Create a New Year's Eve to remember.
Most of us have foggy notions of what we want to be, do and have in our lives. As a result, our lives remain foggy.
But what if you devoted the time to get clear about the life you want to create?
Vision Boards are a simple but profound tool to intentionally create the clarity that leads to your desired outcomes. Pictures are worth a thousand words. A Vision Board is goal setting with pictures. It taps directly into your deepest creative resources.
As someone who has facilitated thousands of learning experiences for teens and adults, I'll guide step-by-step to a powerful vision that inspires you.
You are at a precious point of life.
As a parent, your "empty nest" years lay ahead of you. Without clarity of vision, the time will melt away. Now is your chance to shape it with purpose.
As a teen, you stand on the cusp of your adult life. By taking time to ask deep questions supported by thoughtful people, you will step confidently toward the life you want to create.
How powerful would it be to create and share that experience as a family?
That's why I'm leading this one-time-only PARENT/TEEN VISION BOARD WORKSHOP: to give individuals the space to intentionally define their direction & dreams while sharing a unique memory with their family. Construct a Vision Board to clarify the ideal future you will create as you start the next chapter of your life.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL GET:
- Clarity on what you really want
- Space & time to map out the ideal outcomes for you in each area of your life
- Connection with positive parents & teens
- A method to clear away the natural "gunk" that arises whenever we imagine bigger goals
- All the tools, time & materials to create your own powerful Vision Board
- Your unique Vision Board to take home and focus your motivation for the coming months & years
- A full day of breathing room and dream-time
- A shared memory to connect deeply as a family
What's a Vision Board?
A Vision Board is a visual, tangible, positive goal setting experience. Powerful leaders swear by them (like Oprah), but there is a process to make them more impactful and meaningful. That's what I lead you through.
What is a teen?
What is a "teen"?
Anyone between roughly 13-20. We're not sticklers to numbers. But certainly a person who isn't economically independent yet, but who has the maturity to begin thinking about what they want for themselves by the time they are paying their own bills.
Will my teen think this is stupid? Will I?
By the time we're done, you will both have done some fairly profound self-relection. You will have in your hands a unique and personal momento. You will look at your Vision Board for years (even decades) to come. It will represent this moment in your lives and inspire you both to encourage each other into the next chapters of your lives. If that's stupid to you, then this isn't your bag.
What should I bring?
Bring snacks and water to keep you fueled for the day. Wear comfy clothes.
What will we do for lunch?
You'll have 90 minutes on your own for lunch.
