About this Event
Staying at home to do our best for a healthier world has turned parenting into a multifaceted role that raises daily stressors to new levels for mothers and fathers. Many of us manage our homes, professional responsibilities, and now our roles as parents have expanded to homeschooling, sports coaching, and emotional guiding and so much more. These added roles may or may not play to individual strengths and in turn cause significant tolls on our mental, physical, and emotional resources. Self-care is an important part of refueling our stores of energy and wellbeing. Filling up our tanks by looking inward will have a beneficial effect on our own health AND the health of families too.
On this call you will explore the:
- Importance of self-care
- Resources for self-care
- Practice opportunities for family peace
Come join us to :
- Uncover stress cycles and how to respond
- Practice gentle meditation and simple mindfulness activities
- Relax
Our facilitators have years of self-care, parenting and mindfulness experience.
