Parent Empowerment Program (PEP)
This program meets over the course of three consecutive Saturday mornings, with each series beginning on the listed dates. Our Parent Empowerment Program (PEP) is a hands-on learning opportunity to explore the basics of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and how to apply these techniques in working with children who struggle with problem behaviors, language deficits, and/or social impairments.
PEP is taught by a board-certified behavior analyst. This class is open to all families facing autism, no matter where you are receiving treatment, as well as all professionals and community members who interact with a child living with autism or related disorders.
This 12-hour course costs $120/person or $180/couple. This fee includes the use of an iPad throughout the program sessions. Following completion of the course, iPads may be available for purchase at a reduced rate, thanks to grants through Autism Pensacola.
Onsite child care is available during this class series. If you need child care, please contact Autism Pensacola at 850-434-7171.
Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.
