Event description

Description

Being a parent can be difficult, even more so if your child is dealing with any mental health issues. DBT is an empirically researched mode of treatment that helps people dealing with high emotional dysregulation, difficulties tolerating distress and interpersonal conflicts.

You will learn a brief overview of DBT, Mindfulness techniques and DBT skills that have been shown to help both children and their family members.

Class taught by Rebecca Sanders, MA, LPCC, Associate Director of DBT program at Nystrom & Associates.

Parent Nights funded in part by the Dakota County Integrated Children's Mental Health and Family Service Collaborative.
