Description

You are invited to the Windham Public Schools Parent and Community University (PCU). You will meet parents, teachers, school administrators and community leaders, during a variety of interesting and informative workshops.

While you are in your workshop your children will have a great time at our "Fall Childrens Festival". They will be in the care of our Windham Public Schools, after school program teachers and program leaders.

Our mission: "Strengthen our diverse community by Involving, informing and empowering them through educational workshops and leadership opportunities."

Together we can all make Windham Public Schools the best for the children in our community.

Workshops:

  1. Take out your phone! How Your Children are Learning with Technology.
  2. Transition: Life After High School for a Child with Special Needs.
  3. SGC Leadership Training
  4. Reading Readiness: Preschool to 5th Grade
  5. PTO Leadership Training
  6. Know Your Rights: DACA / Immigration
  7. Real Life, Real Talk: Safe and Healthy Relationaships
  8. Fun with Math at Home: Preschool to 5th Grade
  9. Maintaining Your Home Language

FAQs

Breakfast, lunch and materials will be provided.

Childcare: Babies to children 12 years of age. Children will particpate in our "Fall Festival".

Registered participants will be contacted by a Family Liaison to:

1. Answer any questions you may have about PCU Saturday.

2. Confirm your workshops.
