Description

Calling all Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, and college students who are majoring in Sports Medicine...

Please join us for this FREE symposium on Saturday, November 21 at Pardee Hospital from 8:00am - 3:00pm.

This course is designed to further the education of participants in the area of the upper extremity. The purpose is to investigate which tests provide the most reliable findings and why they should be the gold standard when testing the upper extremities for specific injuries. Throughout the symposium “tips of wisdom” will be incorporated from each presenting professional. These tips will not be evidence based, but concepts which they have learned throughout surgeries and post-surgical rehabilitation. This symposium is listed under the advanced level for athletic trainers, as there will be no review of basic level knowledge. The main objective for this symposium is to follow evidence based indications for special tests and return to play protocols.

6 CEUSs will be offered.

This course is labeled as advanced.
