Previous news headlines of 2013 were; “Unemployment and Jobs”, “Mortgage Defaults and Foreclosure Prevention”, “Low Housing Inventory”, “Mortgage Rates Increasing” “Quality Control” and so many others.
Well… that was then and this is now. Things are much better in today’s housing market. Home prices are inching up. Sales are rebounding. And while foreclosure is still a problem, it’s much less of a problem than it was in early 2009. There’s a lot of positive news about housing all over the United States.
And you might have noticed the voices questioning homeownership? They’re pretty quiet these days. All it took is a return to “normal.” And right now, we’re moving toward a normal, healthy real estate market. A market that appears to be stronger and more sustainable than it was a few years ago and one that will get even stronger over time.
