Event description

Description

Under the guidance of and supervision of special educators, paraeducators can play a key role in supporting students with disabilities across different educational settings. The quality of the services that paraeducators provide to students with disabilities is directly related to the training they receive. This training provides paraeducators a framework for understanding special education terminology, an overview of their roles and responsibilities when working with students in a school setting, and reviews academic, behavioral, and functional strategies that support student success.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are registering for someone else, please be sure to enter their information in the ticket section for notifications regarding this training.

If you require ADA accommodations, please contact the SELPA at hcarlstroem@edcoe.org.

PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE STREET- Cars are frequently towed within minutes. Please park in the lower (middle school) parking lot on Skyline Drive and enter through the front office. Please arrive early enough to be checked in at the front office before the training. Overflow parking is available in the upper (high school) parking lot, this will be a slightly farther walk to the training room.
