During this panel, legal scholars will offer various perspectives regarding one of America's most treasured rights: the right to religious freedom. Specifically, their discussion will focus on current legislative and legal issues that have challenged the way religious freedom is understood and experienced within society today. This academic discussion offers a question and answer session with the panelists.

These legal scholars include:

  • Khaled Beydoun, Associate Professor, University of Detroit Mercy Law School,
  • Elizabeth Clark, Associate Director at the International Center for Law and Religion Studies, Brigham Young University Law School,
  • Christopher Lund, Associate Professor at Wayne State University Law School, and
  • Frank Ravitch, Professor and Walter H. Stowers Chair of Law and Religion at Michigan State University Law School.
