Panel Discussion and Public Reception
Sat, March 25, 2017, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM CDT
Join us for a panel discussion and public reception celebrating the recent release of The Artist as Culture Producer: Living and Sustaining a Creative Life examining how contemporary artists of the 21st century add to creative economies through their out-of-the-box thinking while also generously contributing to the well-being of others. Chris Cook, Executive Director of Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, will moderate a conversation with editor Sharon Louden, artist-contributor Edgar Arceneaux, and Launa Bacon, Omaha-based artist and Founder/Director of Darger HQ.
A public reception and book signing will follow the panel discussion. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
Free and open to the public. Free parking available.
