Description
Please join us for what will surely be a lively panel discussion with local community association "experts" followed by a break out session for a 2 hour Board Member education session for new board members (All board members, new and old are invited to attend this free workshop).
The board member education session will meet the requirements set forth by the State of Florida which requires that all new board members either take a new member educational training or sign off on a certificate indicating that they have read and understand their association's governing documents.
Our panel will be comprised of property manager Tony Lester, accountant Joseph Padron, attorney Leonard Wilder, attorney Ronald Kaniuk and insurance agent Mario Gonzalez.
Mr. Tony Lester is a licensed property manager and the owner T & G Management Services, Inc. Mr. Lester has been a licensed manager for 14 years and is also an expert on association financial management/mismanagement. Tony is a former association fraud and theft investigator who brings his expertise to his clients and to the community in general.
Mr. Joseph Montoro is a CPA whose accounting practice, Padron, Montoro & Hartney, LLP specializes in the representation of community associations for all of their accounting needs and who has tailored his practice to offer cutting edge services and technology to all of its clients.
Attorneys Leonard Wilder and Ronald Kaniuk are attorneys from the Law Offices of Bakalar & Associates, PA which has been around for 22 years and is a practice devoted almost exclusively to the representation of community associations for all of their legal and collection related needs. Mr. Wilder is a Florida Bar certified real estate attorney and Mr. Kaniuk is a bankruptcy attorney who counsels the firm's clients on bankruptcy matters.
Mr. Mario Gonzalez is a skilled insurance agent from the Marsh and McLennan Agency whose company offers insurance related products and services tailored to meet the needs of community associations large and small, condos and HOA's.
Attendance at the Panel Discussion and Board Member Educational Training is FREE OF CHARGE to all board members (including new board members as well as seasoned board members).
