About this event

To better prepare for the current public health threat facing congregations & faith-based nonprofits from COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus), NYDIS is offering this free 2.5 hour webinar on Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) writing. Only senior decision-makers tasked with writing an emergency plan should attend - most especially from congregations which do not yet have an emergency action plan or continuity of operations plan in place. Space is limited to 10 participants in order to provide individual guidance for plan writing during the workshop.

The training will be held using the free online webinar platform, Zoom. All materials needed will be sent in an email prior to the webinar. Participants should bring a copy of any drafts, outlines, or old drafts and be prepared to write a plan for their congregation or organization.

Photo Release: When you attend a NYDIS event, you enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. Events are typically open to the press, unless clients are in attendance. By entering, you consent to such recording media and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, webcasts, social media or other promotional outlets.
