Event description

Description

The Pan African Church Pre-Lobby Day and Lobby Day is a critically important time for lifting your voice for supporting a moral budget that supports our communities. These days are set aside to work with you and your ministries to urge Congress to make funding decisions that put our country and the world on track to ending hunger by 2030. This will be a challenging year. Sadly, programs that help families alleviate hunger and get out of poverty are threatened with deep funding cuts while a famine breaks out in Sudan and where other famines are developing. People of African descent in the USA and the world will be disproportionately affected. Examples of this also include school meals, summer meal programs, meals on wheels etc. Now is the time to speak up and be heard on Capitol Hill and in your districts. Be a part of a timely Christian network to meet together and engage our Congressional Leaders
